As promised....here are all the puppies as they head off to their new forever homes...
Neptune, now Onyx, will live in Maryland....
Jupiter, now Cosmo, will be in New Jersey...
Pluto, now Chief, also in Maryland....
Uranus, now Bailey, another Maryland pup...
Mars, now Mercedes will stay in Pennsylvania...
Mercury, now Tally, in Pennulvania..
Venus is still at home, and will head on down to Tennessee very soon.
Today the temperature was high enuf to have the pups play outside in the grass for a while. They LOVED it.....
They discovered the downspout was dripping water and making a mud puddle.....just like all kids nothing like playing in the mud!
And then a water bowl was placed under the downspout so they all tried to drink at once...and yes, there ARE all eight puppies here.
Puppies begin to head out for their new homes this coming Wednesday. I will do update next weekend showing new families, and their destinations.
ALL EIGHT PUPPIES ARE BILATERAL HEARING....this means that each one has normal hearing in both ears (Dalmatians can also be unilateral hearing - normal in only one ear but still make great pets and usually no one ever knows the difference). Their car ride was about 45 minutes each way and they were quiet for 90% of the trip out (some crying for first 10 minutes on way out) but tired sleeping puppies for entire trip home. No one peed, pooped or threw up at all.
Here are pix taken in the "holding area" where the puppies waited their turn for actual testing. They thought the various pieces of equipment there were just for them to play on or with!

Today, just for the fun of it, decided to stand the puppies to play "show dog" - and they were mostly cooperative and are looking sooooo nice!

Also had some fun time with visitors...
and after lunch, this puppy was tooooo tired to even go to bed!
Tomorrow everyone goes for a nice car ride to have their BAER hearing testing.....will try for some pix and will post them on Tuesday.
